Tattu 4-Port Wall Charger – Review

Wall chargers are one of those items that are hard to review because they basically work or they don’t.  The Tattu 4-Port Wall Charger certainly did not disappoint. We used the Tattu 4-Port Wall Charger to charge 2 iPhone 7s and 2 Apple Watches at the same time, overnight. In the morning, all the devices were at 100% with no issues.  We did feel that the charger got slightly warm but certainly nothing out of the ordinary or something to be concerned about. We then wanted to see how the fast-charge would do so we connected our iPhone 7, with about 20% of battery power left, to the 2.4-amp port. In less than 30 minutes we were up to 80%. That would certainly be helpful if you needed a quick refresh while waiting to board a plane or stopping by your favorite coffee shop. While we had no issues while testing the charger, we should point out that the unit has an internal circuit breaker. In the event one of the ports stops working, you just need to unplug everything for about 5-minutes and the unit will reset itself.  This protects not only the devices connected to the charger but the internal circuitry itself.

 The Bottom Line

With all the devices we carry with us, having a multi-port charger is almost a necessity these days. The small size of the Tattu 4-Port Wall Charger makes this an excellent travel companion. The two 2.4V USB ports are great for charging larger items like your iPad or for doing a fast charge on smaller items like your iPhone or Apple Watch. We like the fact that the Tattu 4-Port Wall Charger has multiple internal protections as well as the self-resetting circuit breaker. The Tattu 4-Port Wall Charger comes with a 24-month warranty against manufacturer’s defects and has an MSRP of $15.99 but is available at a discount from the Tattu website, and even bigger discounts from Amazon. You will also find the Tattu 4-Port Wall Charger in the Power section of the Apple Tech Talk Marketplace.
